Divine spends his days in the trenches — monitoring threats, analysing attack patterns, and responding to incidents before they become disasters. That same instinct for spotting danger is what powers CyberWatch AI. He built the detection engine from the ground up, and he knows exactly what a scam looks like because he sees real ones every single day.
Gideon is the one who made CyberWatch AI actually make sense. As a SOC analyst he had seen plenty of security tools that were powerful but impossible to use — too technical, too cold, too much jargon. So he took charge of how the tool thinks, talks, and feels. If a scan result is clear enough for your grandmother to act on, that's his work.

Why we built this
Online scams are increasingly sophisticated and difficult to identify. Fraudulent Mobile Money alerts, fake job offers requesting upfront fees, and messages impersonating banks are designed to create urgency and bypass careful judgement. Most people only recognise a scam after financial loss has occurred. CyberWatch AI was created to close that gap, giving anyone a fast, reliable way to check suspicious content before acting on it.
Built with Africa in mind
CyberWatch AI is designed to recognise the scam patterns most common across Ghana and the wider African region, including Sakawa schemes, fraudulent Mobile Money alerts, advance fee fraud, and fake job offers, while remaining fully effective for users anywhere in the world, in any language.
How it works
Users submit a link, message, or screenshot, and CyberWatch AI analyses it using the same reasoning a trained fraud investigator would apply, identifying manipulation tactics and inconsistencies, then returns a clear, plain language risk assessment within seconds.
Our commitment
CyberWatch AI does not sell user data and does not store the content submitted for scanning. The platform is intended to support, not replace, personal judgement. Users are encouraged to apply their own discretion alongside every result, particularly in situations involving financial transactions.

Essential storage
We use your browser's local storage, not traditional tracking cookies, to keep you signed in between visits and to remember your light or dark theme preference. This information stays on your device and is only used to make the site function properly.
Payment processing
When you upgrade to Pro, our payment provider Paystack may set its own cookies during checkout to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. These are set and controlled by Paystack, not by CyberWatch AI directly.
What we don't do
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell or share data with ad networks. CyberWatch AI does not run ads.
Managing storage
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser or device settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset your theme preference, but won't affect your account or scan history, which are stored securely on our servers.

What we never store
We do not store the actual content you scan. Your links, messages, and screenshots are sent for analysis and are not saved on our servers. We only keep the resulting risk score, label, and a short summary, so your original content stays private.
Encrypted connections
Every connection to CyberWatch AI, on the website, in the browser extension, and in the Android app, is encrypted over HTTPS. Your data is never sent in plain text.
Account security
Authentication and account data are managed through Supabase, which encrypts data at rest and follows industry standard security practices. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Payment security
Payments are processed by Paystack. CyberWatch AI never sees or stores your card details directly; that information is handled entirely within Paystack's secure, PCI compliant systems.
No data selling
We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising. Your information is used only to provide the CyberWatch AI service to you.

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you run a scan we store the scan type, risk score, label, and a summary — but never the full content of what you scanned. We do not store your actual messages, links, or screenshots on our servers.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the CyberWatch AI service — enforcing scan limits, showing your scan history, and sending email alerts for high risk detections on Pro accounts. We never sell your data to third parties.
Third party services
We use Supabase for authentication and database storage, Paystack for payment processing, OpenRouter for AI analysis, and Resend for email delivery. Each of these services has their own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at info@cyberwatchai.com.

No guarantee of accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, CyberWatch AI analysis may not catch every scam and may occasionally flag legitimate content. Always use your own judgement alongside our tool.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use CyberWatch AI to scan content for malicious purposes, attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse our API, or use automated tools to bypass scan limits.
Subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Paystack. You can cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case by case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge.
